quantitative research

The systematic, empirical investigation of numerical data through the use of statistical models that can be applied to business problems or in assessing marketing opportunities. For example, a restaurant seeking to expand its customer base can generate numerical data through a survey card which can be converted into a statistical model that can reveal the level of empirical support for the opportunity.
