SIA. The principal trade association and lobbying group for broker/dealers. SIA members include most members of the New York Stock Exchange, and many members of other exchanges and the Over-the-Counter market. In 2006 this organization merged with the Bond Market Association to form the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association.
